The moment never waits.

John Blanc didn’t start as a brand.

It started as a feeling.

Everything began when I saw a T-shirt in Colombia.

I was obsessed. It was different — it had identity, attitude.

But there was a problem:

it didn’t ship to Brazil.

So I did what anyone driven would do…

I made my own version.

I produced just one piece. Only for me.

But when I wore it, something changed.

My friends started asking where I got it.

They wanted one too.

Without even realizing it, I had sold 17 T-shirts.

That’s when it clicked:

it wasn’t just a T-shirt… it was connection.

I’ve always been into art and music, so I started creating new designs.

I kept selling — first to friends, then to family…

and things started growing naturally.

Then came the first real opportunity.

A friend told me his father owned a store.

So I went for it.

At first, it was just a conversation…

but the next day came the answer:

He would buy — but with one condition:

the designs had to be unique.

I accepted the challenge.

I created 8 different designs for my first drop.

He bought around 40 pieces… and they sold out fast.

He immediately ordered more.

That was the moment everything changed.

I stopped and thought:

“This is working.”

I decided to build a catalog and start selling to other stores in my city and nearby areas.

But to do that, I had to take a real risk.

I sold my motorcycle.

Put all the money I had into it.

No guarantees.

No safety net.

Just vision.

I produced around 600 pieces.

And went door to door.

At the beginning, it was tough.

I was shy, insecure… got a lot of “no’s”.

But I learned.

I improved my pitch.

Got better every time.

And I kept going.

The result?

In 40 days, I had sold almost everything.

That’s when the switch flipped for good.

The brand stopped being an idea…

and became a path.

I kept creating, producing, selling.

Demand kept growing until I had to take the next step:

I rented a space.

Built my own production.

And kept pushing forward.

Today, John Blanc has gone beyond borders.

I left Brazil, moved to Australia…

and the brand keeps growing.

We now ship to different countries.

But the essence remains the same:

Create pieces with identity.

With story.

With attitude.

Because in the end…

John Blanc was never just about clothing.

It’s about turning vision into reality.
